NWFA Holds St. Louis School
The NWFA held an Intermediate Installation, Sand and Finish
School at its training facility in St. Louis September 12-14. NWFA Technical
Director Steve Seabaugh led the instruction of 32 students,
along with assistant directors of technical training Rusty Swindoll

Distributor L. R. McCoy Co. Inc. (Worcester,
Mass.) has hired Erick Peril as territory sales manager for
the Southwest. Peril brings more than 20 years of flooring experience to
the company.
Birch Creek Millwork Inc. has named Dennis Butcher Northwest regional sales manager. Butcher has more than 15 years’ experience in the flooring industry and was previously employed with Carpet One. Mercier Wood Flooring (Montmagny, Quebec) has added René Savoie as sales representative for eastern Canada. Savoie most recently worked for Goodfellow. Al Lewis, owner of Long Floor Distributing LLC (Richmond, Va.) has retired after 60 years of service. Lewis started with Long Floor in 1947 as one of three employees. Vecoplan LLC (High Point, N.C.), a manufacturer of wood grinders and chippers, has promoted Mike Wilhoit to vice president of operations from his position as operations manager. The company has also appointed Todd Carswell vice president of technical services.
